Peanut Butter and Honey

1/2 cup shortening/butter (mixed)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
2/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup peanuts (chopped)
1 egg
2 cups flour (sifted)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoons salt


Cream shortening/butter mix, sugar, honey, peanut butter and egg
Mix in dry ingredients together in bowl
Stir in dry ingredients into shortening mixture
Add peanuts
Mix thoroughly
Roll dough into logs that are about 2 1/2 inches in diameter
Chill logs over night
Slice into 1/8 inch slices
Place cookies on lightly greased cookie sheet
Bake at 400 F for 8 to 10 minutes
