Walnut Crescents

1 cup soft butter
1 cup icing sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 3/4 cup flour

Chill dough for 1 hour. Divide into 8 pieces. Roll into 1/2" rolls. Cut in 2" lengths. Taper ends & shape into crescents. Bake for 15 minutes at 300F. Yield - 4 dozen.
