2 cups crushed vanilla wafers 
1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar 
1 cup finely chopped walnuts 
1/4 cup sifted cocoa 
3 tablespoons dark corn syrup 
6 tablespoons bourbon
1 pinch salt 
Mix all ingredients together. Form into one inch balls. Roll balls in a mix of cocoa power and confectioner's sugar. Store covered several days before serving. Cookie can be stored for several weeks in a covered container.
