Vinegar Cookies

1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup finely chopped pecans

Pre-heat oven to 300 F. In a medium mixing bowl, beat together butter, sugar and vinegar until light and fluffy. Stir in remaining ingredients until well mixed. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until light brown. Very carefully remove them to wire racks to cool - they crumble easily.
