Tipsy Raisin Drops

1 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup raisins, soaked in rum

Heat oven to 400 degrees F.

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Stir in the flour and well drained raisins. Drop batter by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
